I’m using KeePassX since serval years and a few weeks ago I’m switched from KeePassX 0.4.3 to 2.0 Beta 2 and it’s working without problems (but I’m make a backup of my “.kdbx”-file always before I’m opening the database with the beta 2).

I’m using this beta since several weeks without problems.

You have to import your old datebase-file (.kdb) into the new database-file (.kdbx). KeePassX 2 can only read the new database-file!!!

You should open KeePassX 2.0 Beta 2 -> Database -> Import Database from KeePass 1

This is my first time using any of these betas. I tried opening the database I had from using KeePassX 0.4.3, but the beta says that the database cannot be opened because it is not a KeePass database. Any idea as to why this is happening? Thank you.

But in keepassx, I can simply double click an entry to copy a password. I cann’t get used to keepassx2.0 Beta which removed that handy function.

could be better if I can adjust font size for some high resolution devices.
