I installed KeePassX 0.4.3 on Ubuntu 10.04 an hour ago and it didn't work right out of the box. I created a single entry, saved the database file, quit KeePassX, and restarted it. It couldn't read the file it had just created.

I'm amazed that this malfunctioning piece of software has been around so long, and is still at the same release that it was over 5 years ago. Forget about it. I'll continue keeping my passwords in a LibreOffice spreadsheet file -- at least LibreOffice can open its own files.

Either way, web sites still operate, and the ones still download.
When you're making a juice from dark, leafy greens, try adding in
a little cucumber. That would make a larger part with the MILLIONS of users downloading torrents every day.

Hi.

KeePassX 0.4.3 will not open databases saved by KeePass Droid 1.99.1.

I updated my Android (Nexus 7 and HTC Phone) KeePass Droid to v1.99.1, edited my database and saved it back to my Mac (as I've done loads of times before). Now Mac OS KeePassX 0.4.3 doesn't open the database.

This is quite devastating for the way I use KeePass.

Is there a better place than here to report a bug?

On the whole, tho, most excellent app. I'm very grateful.

Hi, for some reason keepassx doesn't correctly sort by date. Entries with 2013 appear at the top (or bottom) then entries for 2012 and then again entries for 2013, no matter which direction you use.

Hopefully this is fixed in the new version.

I still would like to see an update that has the following improvements:

- Autofocus on search field after loading
- Locking itself after n minutes when a detail window is open (current security flaw)

Thanks for listening.

I downloaded KeePassX (universal) for my OS 10.4.11. Yes, I still use it. Worked fine ... for a bit. One day, I couldn't log onto my database. Incorrect hash tags or corrupted file were the reasons.

A friend said to use a newer version of KeePass for Mac OSX. Tried downloading KeePass2.18 for Mac + the MonoFrameworkMRE, since the website said KeePass doesn't work without it. KeePass2.18 wouldn't boot up. Didn't work. So, I'm rebuilding a new database using my original version of KeePassX. Any other solutions? Would like to grab my old DB on Dropox if possible. Any suggestions there?
