Please test your current stable version on Ubuntu 9.10 x64. It asks for master password and the window disappears after clicking OK. No issues with 32bit, I just can’t live without this great piece of software, so please fix and test it thoroughly.

It can be at the folder level, that’s fine. But it would be really handy to be able to have a folder of shared system passwords and be able to export just those passwords to pass on to other people.
