KeePassX 0.4.3 released
KeePassX 0.4.3 has just been released.
It fixes a serious regression introduced in 0.4.2:
Editing groups doesn’t work and might crash the application.
Please Download the new version if you have already upgraded to 0.4.2.
A Mac OS build will follow shortly.

KeePassX 0.4.2 has been released.
It mostly contains bug fixes and, on popular demand, the reintroduction of the “Close to Tray” option.

This is the beta release of the upcoming KeePassX 0.4.2.
It mostly contains bug fixes and, on popular demand, the reintroduction of the “Close to Tray” option.
If you want to add a new translation or update an existing one, please do that now os I can include it in the final release. For information on how the translation system works, please have a look at the translating page.
Warning:
This version is experimental. Don’t use it in productive environments and backup all your databases before using it.

KeePassX 0.4.1 has been released.
This is mainly a bugfix update though it also contains three new feature:
- An inital documentation by Jussi Sainio
- Ability to drag’n’drop fields (username, password, …) to other applications (Linux only)
- An option to show the application window always on top (Linux only)

KeePassX 0.4.0 has been released!

KeePassX 0.4.0 Beta 1 released (call for translations)
This is the first beta release of the upcoming KeePassX 0.4.
It contains a bunch of new features such as a pronounceable password generator, a “Tools” menu in the entry dialog to ease the use of auto-type, automatic backup of changed entries and of course some bugfixes.
Hopefully we can provide more translations of KeePassX in the final release. So if you’re able to speak a language that is not yet supported or the translation is incomplete, please have a look at the translating page.

This is another (mainly) bug fix release. Please report any remaing bugs!
Due to the lack of developers a Mac OS X build is not yet available and it might take some time until it’s released.
As always you should make a backup of your password safe before upgrading. Once you open your database with KeePassX 0.3.2, custom icons won’t be avilable anymore on older version.
