I having that “Hash test failed” problem too after migrating from Windows with Keepass to Ubuntu 8.10 with KeepassX 0.3.4

I have this problem on my clean Ubuntu 8.10 installation (without any additional repositories) Always when there is a @-symbol in the username, keepassx 0.3.3 quits!

KeePassX 0.3.3 is working fine here on MacOS/Leopard 10.5.5.

Ok, forget about version 0.3.3 when on MacOS/Leopard 10.5.5. It is broken. If daunting, use 0.3.2, this version appears to work.

Am I the only one having problem with this port on Mac OS 10.5/Leo? KeePass simply can’t open my prev. generated password database. I’m just getting ‘Hash test failed’ message. And believe me, I tried it now in slow motion to make sure that my master password is correct, key lock disabled etc etc.
What’s going on here?

I use Keepass 2.05 and “pull” my KDBX file from a web site.
How can I configure (is it possible?) the Linux version do open the file from an ftp:// address?
