I miss the possibility to keep KeePassX open, so that it stays in the systray.

The GUI library used by KeePassX - Qt - does not support systray icons at the moment. But this feature is already announced for the next major Qt release 4.2. so I think it won't take much time until this feature is available in KeePassX.

Regarding the systray icon... I was just visiting this forum to request this... I just want to add, please support GNOME users as well! I think gnome and kde are compatible/interoperable regarding the systray icons and functionalities; just a bit of extra testing to ensure this will do....
